55th Class Reunion

Dear Classmates
As you know, we had to cancel our 55th reunion which was scheduled for September 12, 2020.  
Moving forward, we want to offer some options for a reunion next year, 2021.
We need updated contact info, email addresses and home addresses, phone.    We will have limited funds and many of you have changed addresses since our 50th.  This will save mailing costs.
We have an opportunity to combine our Class Reunion with the Class of 66.  We would like to get your feedback on this as well as other ideas.

THE YEAR WAS 1965
The year was 1965 and we were about to graduate from Bradford High School. We were finally adults and our dreams were big. We were hanging out at the Congress Street Diner, Nick's Red Hots and State Park, when we weren't driving up and down Main Street around the Square, listening to WESB on the radio.  Here's what else was going on in 1965.

• The "Beatles '65" album goes to number one and stays there for 9 weeks.
• NY Jets signed quarterback Joe Namath.
• Boston Celtic center Bill Russell misses all 14 shots in a loss to Philadelphia Warriors led by Wilt Chamberlain
• The Who releases their first album "I Can't Explain."
• Muhammad Ali KOs Sonny Liston in round one for the heavyweight boxing title rematch.
• Martin Luther King Jr. advocates civil rights.
• The US orders the first combat troops to Vietnam.
• Frist game at an astrodome, Houston beats Yankees 2-1 in exhibition as Mickey Mantle hits first indoor homerun.
• Sonny & Cher make their 1st TV appearance in "American Bandstand."
• Bob Dylan release "Like a Rolling Stone."
• Rolling Stones score their 1st US #1 single "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction."
